Secondary responsibility for install, maintenance and service on traditional milking, feeding and waste handling systems primarily on dairy and commercial operations throughout central and southern Michigan/Northern Ohio/Indiana. The candidate should possess strong refrigeration systems aptitude and experience will be given strong preference additionally electrical wiring, plumbing and dairy farm experience are preferred but not required. Full Time position to perform the preventative maintenance and service of dairy refrigeration systems. These products and services include, but are not limited to, the following:
Refrigeration components of new/used milk tanks and cooling systems.
Refrigeration components of chiller systems
All components of new and remodeled milk harvesting equipment
Complete electrical wiring and installation in barns and farms- perference
Plumbing for dairy operations – preference
Stainless, sanitary layout and welding will be large assist in installation of complete refrigeration systems
Account for time spent on jobs and material used in performing duties
Requirements: ·Proficient knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems ·Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment as provided by WG Dairy Supply ·Basic computer abilities with proficiencies in oral and written skills ·Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. ·Promptly attend required trainings to receive pertinent certifications for on-call scheduling ·High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required; Associates degree preferred ·Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
